What stays on your device

None of it goes anywhere else. Clearing the site's data in your browser erases all of it, for good.

• A random anonymous identifier created by your browser, which stands for this device only.
• Your progress, scores, streak and settings (language, units, theme, sounds).
• Your language and theme, in two technical cookies, if you changed them.

What passes through the server without staying there

The game has no database. Once the response is sent, nothing remains: no estimate, no score, no identifier. A challenge link only exists in the message you pasted it into.

No email address, real name or location data is requested.

• Your estimate for a round, just long enough for the server to score it and hand back the real size.
• Your device's anonymous identifier, sent along with that estimate.
• A challenge you create: the date, your estimates and your optional nickname are encrypted inside the link itself.

Technical logs and abuse

The host keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for a short period, for security and to run the service.

To limit abuse, the game counts requests per IP fingerprint: that fingerprint is salted, irreversible, and gone after one minute. The address itself is never written down.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest in running and protecting the game. No advertising or analytics processing is active today; if advertising is switched on, it will rely on your consent, collected before any tracker is set.

Processors

• Hosting: Vercel Inc. (United States). Transfers outside the European Union are governed by Vercel's data processing agreement (vercel.com/legal/dpa).
• No other processor: no database, no ad network, no analytics tool.

Your rights

Since the server keeps no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct or erase on our side: it all happens in your browser, and clearing the site's data is enough.
